Absolutely yes--a mouthpiece saver

I had purchased a fairly expensive Selmer metal classical mouthpiece for my soprano sax,
but the thing made decent intonation a bear. Soprano horns are hard enough to control
tonally, but I had no such problem with a Yanigasawa or Link metal jazz MP. So I tried the
Consoli Dark. And guys...I love it! I can now play with a hard reed on a very closed
classical MP, do octave jumps that aren't a quarter-tone off, and get an ease of
production that I associated with a far more open MP and soft reed.
