When I was approached to try the Consoli ligatures, I was skeptical. I have used many
different ligatures in my 45 years of performing and they all work about the same. I was
asked to try the dark and bright. I prefer the dark, however, both ligatures made a huge
difference in my sound. In fact, musicians that I perform with commented on the improved
sound. I was so impressed with the ligature on my Tenor that I have ordered one for the
Baritone and Clarinet. Congratulations on discovering a ligature that allows the reed to
respond completely.
